Salt and Crossing the Abyss

As many have remarked, it seems odd that Salt is placed second in the Septenary System’s nine-fold sequence of initiation referred to by Anton Long as the “principle of metamorphosis”. After all, Salt is attributed to the unconscious, which many associate with the state prior to the first initiatory stage of awakening, so it would make sense for Mercury, a representation of the masculine and introverted to come second in the sequence, as that logically proceeds awakening.

However, confronting the unconscious is a core component of any magick system, which occurs around the midway point of initiation in most systems. In terms of alchemy, the second stage is the muliebral, regarded as the creative and expansive stage (Gettings, 1981).

As is the case with the Septenary System, the journey begins with the [masculine] Ego: introverted feeling, intuition and thinking. It then moves onto the second stage of the [muliebral] Unconscious: extroverted feeling, thinking and intuition. Finally, it arrives at a consonance of both masculine and muliebral in the third stage known as the Self: Master of Temple/Mistress of Earth, Grand Master/Grand Mistress and Immortal/Homo Galactica (Long, 1976).

Ad libitum: while the Ego could be considered to be extraverted in so far as its physical expression is commonly understood, it is actually introverted because it is only concerned with the microcosm of the causal, not the macrocosm of the acausal. The term ‘introverted’ therefore – contextually – means myopic and ‘extraverted’ means open-mindedness, as it relates to considerations of the acausal and the numinous.

The unification of the masculine and muliebral, or Sol and Luna, is the stage known in hermetic alchemy as the Double Pelican, which Carl Jung referred to as Enantiodromia, but the Sinister Tradition refers to as “Crossing the Abyss.”

The term itself perfectly encapsulates the alchemical process, for the abyss is a representation of the second stage — Unconscious, which is dark, unfamiliar and opposing; the polar opposite of the first stage — Ego, which is light, known and resonating.

The action of “crossing” is an allegory for how the initiate confronts the muliebral Unconscious, that which is hidden deep and repressed. The initiate walks the tightrope suspended above the unknown of their psyche in order to reach the other side, at which time they have made the unknown known made the unconscious conscious, and apprehend the whole of their being before it was — to quote David Myatt — “cleaved into parts”. This is likely what Anton Long refers to as being one’s opposite yet beyond both.

Hopefully, this has cleared up the previous misconception and explained why the alchemical symbol for Salt is placed second in the sequence of the principle of metamorphosis; and in addition, provided new insight into the alchemical process known as “crossing the abyss.”

Touching The Dying Sun

Waning. SA: 0.53 / MA: 0.51

A decaying Aeonic city, dripping with homogenous metallic water, breaks through the forbidden angles of the House. The smell of iron fills the air and dread cascades down into the collective subconscious of the causal.

Before us, sits invisibly, a haggard old king, adorned with robes the colour of dying Sol — The Hermit? Nay, it is not human! This “thing” perceived as a king is a god outside of time. Its nihilistic kingdom of death and life bears the infernal name Karkosa, for it can only be seen in hindsight conjunction with Mars, after one has existed there.

The Rubedo eyes of the rusted king forces the unification of the contradictory and opposing aspects of the self upon meeting its gaze. The double pelican flies above. Its will imparts an understanding that insanity is but sanity coming to terms with the boundlessness of the cosmos, yet the king decrees that sanity and insanity may find horrific confluence, birthing a dancing star from LASHTAL.

Lapsit ex coelis, Lucifer freshly fallen, brings the Spear of Wyrd to His caller(s) for which there are Nine. The Nine become Dragons of three forms: Serpent, Fire and Man. Ascalon pierces the heart of the first, releasing the second to be absorbed by the third; but Man is not yet able to hold Fire and thus it becomes an ember hidden, keeping warm the dormant Serpent until the Becoming.

The Serpent bestows lightning to the mage, and the tongue to speak beyond this world yet for it. For that is the divine Will of Khem; and all whom have the Serpent occluded shall be as His prophets once awakened.

The Serpent bears seven eyes. One for each sphere, which are constellations in space and beating hearts of great inexplicable horrors that walked Terra long ago. The number is 93, greater than 13, but 13 is that which must be avoided to reach 20.

Thus, the Key is Red and that which is Yellow keeps it beyond grasp, for it is the beginning known as the Fool…

Guest Article: Excerpts from The Holy Shadow of Death by Fenrir

“Nothing will make sense to your American ears, and you will doubt everything that we say and do. But in the end, you will understand.”

– Character Alejandro, Film Sicario

“Death is the only wise advisor that we have. Whenever you feel, as you always do, that everything is going wrong and you’re about to be annihilated, turn to your death and ask if that is so. Your death will tell you that you’re wrong; that nothing really matters outside its touch. Your death will tell you, ‘I haven’t touched you yet.”

– Carlos Castaneda, Journey to Ixtlan

It is necessary for the aspiring practitioner of the craft, as well as for those walking the path of a soldier in the mundane sphere of this life, to actively invoke and experience their own intimate confrontation and embracing of death. The Shadow of Death is a powerful teacher and emissary  of personal destiny, which, once integrated or assimilated into the awareness and process of the rising sorcerer, will facilitate dramatic change both in one’s spirituality and one’s life path as a whole. Death itself has been revered and honored within the form of various deific masks by cultural demographics across the planet, as it is an intimate aspect of life and both perfectly personal and transcendently impersonal. Death represents change, forward movement, confrontation of the unknown, and the discovery of deeper self beyond the visible forms and outward symbols by which the ego may identify. The mysteries of death are profound and constituted of incredible depth, and the initiations, empowerments, and hidden knowledge of the Shadow of Death are among the sorcerer’s or soldier’s most formidable catalysts and empowering (or incapacitating for the profane which approach these mysteries uninvited) experiences and gnosis.

Within various cultures the archetypal personification of death has assumed many different masks, each specific and keyed to the racial and cultural demographics which project them from the depths of their own unique and specific collective consciousness and collective psychological dynamics.

Every practitioner of the craft must come to face the inexorable confrontation and embracing of death within the context of their own cultural and physiological disposition; that is, the atavistic archetypal manifestation of death within the stream of divinity keyed to one’s own bloodline and ancestral heritage. I have met devout Muslims who were startled when they encountered death within the mask of the God Anubis because of their ancestral heritage tracing back to Egypt. Others I have known encountered death within the mask of the Norse Goddess Hel of the spiritual traditions of their predecessors long forgotten. And one of my own spiritual mentors who was raised Catholic in Canada experienced the figure and current of death within the mask of Baron Samdi, the ruler of the dead and keeper of the doorway between the worlds of life and death in the mysteries of Haitian Vodou, as she was born in Haiti and descended of an unbroken Haitian bloodline. So even if the practitioner pursues a foreign culture’s spiritual current, they will ultimately encounter their own specific ancestral/hereditary deific mask of death – and it is this mask specifically which one is called to walk with. Why the profane feel the need to seek out someone else’s spiritual heritage and deities is anyone’s guess, but regardless the act of trying to be something which one simply is not will never be a means to power and higher illumination, or yield any fruit of gnosis or spiritual ascent, and as a well known Master once stated, “You will know them by their fruits.” Every self- declared and wanna- be Santa Muerte devotee I have ever met who had no ancestral license in this path have always maintained their so- called “altars” for naught. As I was being led deeper into the sorcery of lucid dreaming and achieving feats which defied everything which I had been conditioned to believe about the nature of reality and performing Chris Angel- type feats in the concrete, they were still lighting candles before a lifeless statue and had nothing to show for their lives. No physical fitness, no financial affluence, and certainly not the slightest capacity to perform any actual sorcery of the type I was doing. But one cannot enlighten the profane, and so I continued to walk the path I was called to whilst they played doll house with their empty statues.

During the course of my spiritual journey I came to encounter and integrate death and it’s power in the form of Santa Muerte, a traditional folk saint from my heritage in Mexico. I was exposed to the mysteries of Santa Muerte early in my life, literally decades before profane outsiders of our culture began claiming to venerate her in western society. While I could pen an entire volume concerning the mysteries of Santa Muerte alone, because of the abstract and asymmetrical trajectory of my life path I was also introduced to the Shadow of Death within the masculine personification of South America. As I was training in the Brazilian cult of Quimbanda I inevitably encountered the spirit Exu Morte, who was also venerated in Argentina as Señor La Muerte. The mysteries of Santa Muerte of Mexico are vastly different from the cult of Señor La Muerte in South America, however both are profoundly deep, demanding, and transforming streams of divinity, each with their own unique dynamics and mysteries which emanate from the dark yet beautiful essence of death- the great liberator.

Due to the romanticization of “Narco Culture” by Hollywood and social media in recent times, charlatans and profane outsiders of every shape and color have arisen claiming false association or practice of the veneration of Santa Muerte. Caucasian and African American demographics which do not speak a word of Spanish, much less access the cartel- controlled conflict zones wherein the cult of Santa Muerte centers, declare themselves “devotees” and “children” of the Holy Mother – to the blatant insult and disrespect of the actual practitioners. Santa Muerte is not a textbook grimoire spirit which anyone can simply adopt into their catalogue of personal deities or call upon. She is a powerful and ancient Goddess, and her mysteries are closed to all but those select few which she herself calls to her current of power. One does not choose to walk with Santa Muerte, but rather it is her interest in you which ultimately decides whether or not one may receive the hidden knowledge and the divine empowerments of the sovereign and holy shadow of Death.

End Dagon

To whom it may concern,

Cross. Zero-cross. Cross.

You are looking in the wrong place. Dunwich is not the answer. The key is in Witch House and the mutterings of unholy geometry.

Thus, return to the 20th century texts before it was posited that Lovecraft didn’t know what he was doing.

You are investing in the wrong actions. It is not theory or ritual, but physical experiments that will take us into the future. Experiments are divisive, radical and elitist.

Thus, the answer is not cooperation with all. It is domination with the few. Burn the cross; cull your name; shed your skin, and be born again. Throw yourself into the physics of acausality and test its limits.

Magical Socialism – Reposted

We would like to bring attention to this very interesting article written by a third party.

Magical Socialism Disclaimer: again, unfortunately, decades of fanaticism with the o9a has left me with few exterior examples to draw from to make anecdotal points. So, they must again be mentioned here. Despite trying to do so, either by Ryan or Chloe, it became apparent that the diversity of nexions can never be ruled by […]

The Druwyd’s Odyssey: An Alchemical Journey of 9 Worlds Outlined

The Nine Worlds

The Preface

The following outline is provided as a barebones framework for understanding Druwydry. It takes the form of a Great Oak, and as such is seeded in the fertile soil of the Prima Materia. In keeping true to the nature of the Great Oaks, it will continue to grow with each cycle. As the seasons change, thus the character of the Great Oak will reflect the season. Sometimes barren, other times bearing fruit. The occasional new growth should be anticipated.

The Grand Tapestry of Existence

Eternity (Æthyr): The primordial source and the undifferentiated Absolute (Great Void).

Great Cosmos: Encompasses all the worlds within the Emanation.

The Druwyd: An individual seeking self-knowledge and integration, navigating the vastness of the Great Cosmos and yearning for the unity of Eternity.

The Forge: Represents the various challenges and experiences encountered on the path of transformation. These challenges correspond to different worlds within the Emanation:

  • WORLD 1 (The 9 Dimensional Existence): The first level of differentiation from Eternity.
  • WORLD 3 (The 8 Dimensional Existence): All dimensions within the Great Cosmos (All that is beyond the Great Canopy.
  • WORLD 6 (The Great Understory): The Macrocosm or “Milky Way”, our starry galaxy.
  • WORLD 12 (The Solar System): The Seeds of the Tree of Wyrd.
  • WORLD 24 (Earth): The Natural Worldly Order.
  • WORLD 48 (Man): The human experience.
  • WORLD 96 (The Root): The Microcosm, The internal world of Luna and the Dark Pool.

The Prima Materia (First Matter)

WORLD 48: Represents the starting point, the untransformed human condition. It embodies the three core forces:

Insidious (Mercury): The mercurial principle.

Heretical (Sulphur): The divine spark within.

Terrestrial (Salt): The grounding force.

The Druwydry (The Great Work):

The stages of the Druwydry remain the same, representing the Druwyd’s inner journey. However, the Druwyd strives for a state of being that resonates with the interconnectedness of the Cosmos, the divine spark within, and the ultimate unity.

The Druwyd’s Dwelling Places:

  • WORLD 48 (Man): The Druwyd grapples with emotions, social interactions, and their shadow aspects.
  • WORLD 96 (Microcosm): The Druwyd explores the fundamental building blocks of existence and the Bio-survival Circuit.

The Cosmic Landscape

  • WORLD 6 (The Great Understory): Governed by the Laws of the Solar System and Great Cosmos. The Druwyd encounters the Cosmic Element (represented by Venus) and the influence of Xeno (Life in the Galaxy). The vastness ignites a sense of wonder and confronts the Druwyd with the Six Forces governing the Macrocosm. They might embody the Necromancer (Undertaking), undertaking the great work of transformation within the galactic arena.
  • WORLD 12 (The Solar System): Governed by the Laws of Earth and Macrocosm. The Druwyd encounters the Air Element and the influence of Sol (Life in the Solar System). This world represents the Celestial Existence, aligning with the Symbolic Circuit (The Rational Mind). The Druwyd might explore the Lux (Eagle), Dance Oracle, Antares (Orange-Gold), representing a deeper level of transformation within this world. These are the Seeds of Wyrd.

The Earthly Realm

WORLD 24 (Earth): Governed by the Laws of Man and the Solar System. The Druwyd encounters the Water Element and the influence of Eden (Life on Earth). This world represents Organic Life, with the Twenty-Four Forces shaping existence. The Druwyd might embody the Anarchist (Mayhem), highlighting the potential for destructive impulses. The Elixir of Ecological Balance helps navigate these challenges.

The Human Experience

WORLD 48 (Man): Governed by the Laws of Microcosm and Earth. The Druwyd encounters the Fire Element and the influence of Adam (One Base, Three Values + 1). This world represents the human experience, a 4-dimensional reality. It aligns with the Emotional-Territorial Circuit (Freud’s Ego), the foundation of emotions, social interactions, and self-preservation. The Assassin (Havok) archetype embodies a distorted expression of this circuit. The Elixir of Emotional Harmony helps cultivate a balanced expression.

The Microcosmic Roots

WORLD 96 (The Roots): Governed by the Laws of Man. It is here that we can have the most (influence) effect. The Druwyd encounters the Earth Element and the influence of Polar + 1 (Cause, Action, Effect). This world represents the fundamental building blocks of existence, a 3-dimensional reality. It aligns with the Bio-survival Circuit. Represented by Luna and the Dark Pool from which the roots drink.

Circulation – The Art of Raising, Releasing and Harnessing Fòrsa Beatha

Prefatory Note on Cleansing:
Before each Circulation a cleansing must take place. Nature is perpetually cleansing itself and so too must the Bawrn cleanse, lest they introduce ‘impurities’ into Nature and negatively impact the nexions they will be opening. The two recommendations for cleansing are: (1) smudging with white sage; and (2) bathing in salt water.

🜃

Circulation I

Stand barefoot upon natural ground and assume the Wuji posture (Qi Gong). Turn your palms face-up and bring your hands together with the finger tips of the left hand roughly half an inch from the right hand, as if holding a bowl in both hands. Raise the shape to the heart area while inhaling and then invert the shape, bringing it down to your naval while exhaling.

Repeat this as many times as desired but a minimal of five repetitions is advised. Finish with positioning your back against the floor and meditating on the earth’s energy.

🜄

Circulation II

Take a knee and place both hands face down in a body of clear, shallow water, ensuring the thumbs are touching; fingers are spread. Slowly rotate the hands inwards until the forefingers connect to form the shape of a triangle and bring the other fingers together. Finally, push the thumbs inward so that the shape resembles the head of an arrow, then reverse the movements until you return to the first position. As you perform the movements, visualise a red opening up underwater in the space between the hands.

When you are ready to conclude the Circulation, hold your breath, place your left or right palm over the rend and visualise the water penetrating your palm, entering your veins and spreading through your body. When the breath can no longer be held, slowly exhale.

🜂

Circulation III

Build a small fire, or light a candle, and gradually bring both hands together – palms facing inwards – around the flame and then contract them, as if massaging the flame between them.  Begin as close to the flame as possible without causing pain, following your own heat tolerance by making the space between the hands larger if necessary. The temperature should remain warm on the hands, not hot or cold.

After however many repetitions you feel are required, withdraw the hands and take a step back. Focus on the flame, try to predict its movements as it dances atop. Before long, you will find that your predictions are becoming more accurate…

🜁

Circulation IV

Locate a hill, mountain top, bay – anywhere in which the wind can manifest at its strongest, and take a seat or knee not too far from the edge. Focus on the horizon until the wind can be clearly heard then close your eyes and begin the reverse breathing technique (Taoism) to enter a meditative state. Open your eyes once entranced, reach on hand above your head and slowly clench the hand into a fist when the wind is at its strongest, keeping it clenched until the wind eases, then slowly unclenching it into an open palm again.

Repeat this five times and rise to your feet with your arms outstretched as the wind begins to pick up again. Embrace the tempestuous energy of the wind; let it rattle you; move you, in body, mind and spirit. Stand for as long as you are able. Once the power temporarily subsides, fall to your knees. When the wind returns again in full force, explode to your feet and meet its strength a final time, enduring and absorbing its energy until it flows back into a gentle state.

🜀

Circulation V

Participate in sexual union with the express purpose of raising, releasing and harnessing the tremendous occulted power of the female orgasm. While on the precipice of climax the partners should visualise a purple light shooting and pulsing upwards from the vagina toward the third eye of the female, then further visualise ♀︎ – through lock eyes –  appearing within the irises of the climaxing female in florescent purple before flickering to ♃.

Notes:

(1) Circulation is the name given to the occult ability of raising, releasing and harnessing fòrsa beatha.

(2) Circulations can be performed as frequently or infrequently as desired, but proficiency in the art can only be achieved through repetition, discipline and the further independent study of energy work.

(3) Circulation V is not restricted to a heterosexual encounter and will likely produce a stronger result through its sapphic alternative. However, due to the female orgasm being a cardinal aspect of this Circulation, uranic unions will yield no results.

An Inherited Apprehension of Time

As we grow as beings we are nurtured by our own presuppositions of time. We lead ourselves to define time linearly and sneer at any possibility of an instantaneous connexion between the past, present and future. It is only when we commune with some-thing outside of our mundane perceptions, through events that occur away from ticking clocks and encoded routine, that we begin to consider that time is but a measurement of processes, a measurement created  by us and its purpose defined by us. So much faith is placed in the way we process the measurement of time, yet we often perceive our spatio temporal existence to be proceeding at a different pace than the analogue and electronic tools we have designed to measure it may suggest.

The foundations of our casual existence consist of three dimensions of space and one dimension of lineal time; these dimensions are not separate but relative to one another, functioning as coordinates through which beings navigate and perceive their own experience. But at the border of our ability to intuit and correlate the inexplicable emanations of Nature and the cosmos, lineal time fades away, and we attain an ancient vantage; one where we witness past, present and future as one simultaneous, holistic happening in which our temporal actions suddenly have eternal meaning and consequence.

Therefore, [our] lineal time unfolds to reveal a non-lineal, physical dimension through which aeons can be navigated, interacted with, and altered (regardless of a being’s temporal position in causal space-time) using causal and numinous “coordinates”. It is in the wake of this found- again apprehension that the four seasons: wheel of seasons, lunar phases, and other astronomical events replace our previous measurement of processes (lineal time) and become known as alchemical seasons, during which Ga Wath Am and Binan Ath are presenced, allowing us to intuit the internal/external cycles of that which Nature and the cosmos birthed, as well as influence the physis of that which possesses being (during alchemical seasons) should we elect to.

The Currents of Wyrd

Wyrd is an odd word, it looks like “word” and sounds like “weird”. Yet… Wyrd is the underlying fabric of the Nine Worlds and one of the central concepts of Druwydry. The rudimentary definition is something like “the course of events” or ” The Cosmic Fates”. A more intuitive understanding might be “what is to come”. In Druwydry, Wyrd represents the powerful currents of influence that control how events unfold in linear time. It is possible to displace the flow of Wyrd that is revealed through a specific alignment of The Mastery and Deed.

A Self-Centric Eye (the Master I)

Every Western institution over the past 100 years has been designed to manufacture “sleepers” that obey. This happens because the Magians and Puritans idealize putting others above ourselves. This is a monumental err. Literally putting the cart before the horse and then putting full cup blinkers on it. Selflessness benefits none in the long term and only benefits opportunistically in the short term.

Deep down, everyone knows this is true. Self-centrism is extremely frowned upon, yet everyone practices it and dresses it up in the disguise of selflessness. By becoming self-centric, you begin to pay attention and become sensitive to what impacts you directly. Developing a deeper understanding of what influences you and in what way. Without that understanding you are a vessel adrift without anchor or sail undoubtedly heading towards the rapids and rocks. Torn and shredded pieces are destined to settle into the river bed, somewhere downstream.

A correction is in order. It is necessary to embrace self as priority and in this begin the seeding of essence. What grows from the seeds? An authentic understanding of who you are, where you are, what you like, and what motivates you. This is the fundamental basis of self-remembering. Creating awareness simultaneously of what is known and the knower. Awareness of the deed and the doer.

No Good Deed Goes Unpunished

We are taught the results of being self-centric is devastating and destructive. Somehow it is corrosive to our collective relationships. Self-centrism is falsely construed as selfishness. In accordance, it is thought that it creates no contribution to the “greater society at large”. Yet a survey of the landscape tells a different story.

The wretched who care only about themselves seem to live forever. The ruthless businessman gets richer and more powerful. The self-obsessed athlete becomes the best in his game. The politician rises in his influence and reach. In a very real sense Satan is King of this World. The nature of this world is adversarial and the road to hell is always paved with good intentions

Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, Pride. All said to be deadly Sins. However in a controlled and deliberate use, we are led to the path of freedom and prosperity. Lust leads to the fulfillment of sexual needs. Gluttony brings forth a fullness of living. Envy creates motivation and drive to improve your station. Pride brings a focus to constantly refine and develop the self. Greed to financial fulfillment. Wrath to justice. Sloth to emancipation from fruitless labor.

Perilously Traverse the Currents of Wyrd

We live in a dangerous world. Everything is surely trying to kill us, even Destiny herself. Nythra will not be denied. Yet under the Moonlight, there’s a winding staircase that leads to the blue room of Mars. It is here in The Dark Pools that we can divine the Currents of Wyrd. Given we have the foresight, that is the occult abilities to; chart our course along the ebbs and flows of the Great River as it’s rushing.

We can apprehend Cosmic Emanation, as we see the spring forming the Dark Pool. It begins to stream outwardly. The stream eventually feeding into the Great River. I close this entry with a quote from Magister Hagur. May your Travels be by your revealed Wyrd.

“Shugara, highly developed intellectually and greatly motivated achieves objectivity wherever he is found, bringing about the deep sinister intent. The Dark God is influenced by the planets Moon and Mars, responding to their attraction, ever ready to transmit its energies to all those contemplating the Tree of Wyrd as a way of sinister living, and this means:

(1) Endeavouring to arrive at an absolute sinister motive.

(2) The ability to enter in the silence of the chaotic mind to realise the sinister way.

(3) Remembering at all time the strict self-disciplined life, which
does not mean that life is undone of sensual perception, on the contrary it does stir up a well-balanced dark life.

(4) Using self-control facing the unknown.

(5) Not to scatter innate sinister forces vainly, but focus them to a particular sinister goal. “ – Hagur

Genesys of the Darkhorse

In the beginning, man and woman were free to be one with nature. They endured and figured out how to survive its laws, learning through trial, error, and from other animals. As they evolved they came together as human packs to increase their probability of survival, forming tribes and small communities. Then the tribes increased in size, expanding beyond their hunting grounds and into the greater kingdom of nature. The survival rate and territory of the other animals started to decline with the passing of time as humanity established itself as the apex predator. With nothing aside from natural disasters and disease to challenge man & woman’s dominion they continued to expand exponentially, taking the lion’s share of resources and living-space.

As time marched on the human race imagined itself among the stars and heavens, beginning to see itself as a separate entity of the animal kingdom. Our societies & ways of life changed to reflect our delusion, and we were reincarnated as an aberration of nature with excessive consciousness. The conceptualisation of our experiences grew more artificial and our problem-solving became more cerebral. We solved anatomical puzzles, split the atom, and reached the stars, only to realise that existence was more complex and mechanical than we initially thought, culminating in the atrophy of our hunter-gatherer genetics and the psychosis of our 21st century existence.

The human animal is now an estranged creature ensnared by a manic hysteria of its own making. Due to the grooming and pressures of society we subconsciously agreed upon rules to live by which exist in contrast to our nature. As our familial bonds have subsided for various reasons we no longer have the environment which encouraged this nurtured learning, leaving a void in our understanding of the world and each other. No longer can we as a species default to the animalistic nature which helped our evolution to this point, leaving an altogether confused animal locked in an empty room with full awareness of the futility of its own existence.
