Within the Rounwytha [1] Tradition there is a clever trick – more so, oral prerequisite – that prevents the adoption or emulation of the Way by those whom are not, or have not been, in close proximity to a “Keeper”. Let us refer to the seven axioms authored by a “Camlad Rounerer” [2] with concern to the Rounwytha Way:
i) There are no named deities or divinities or ‘spirits’. No ‘gods’, no ‘goddess’. No demons.
ii) There are no spells or conjurations or spoken charms or curses; no ‘secret scripts’ and no ‘secret teachings’; indeed no teachings at all.
iii) There are no ‘secret book(s)’ or manuscripts; indeed, there are no writings.
iv) There are no ritual or Occult or ‘wiccan’ or ‘satanist’ elements at all.
v) There is no calendar, as calendars are usually understood, and thus no set dates/times for festivities or commemorations.
vi) There are no oaths made, no pledges written or said.
vii) There is no organization, no dogma, no codification of beliefs, no leader(s), no hierarchy, and no stages or grades of ‘attainment’.
Before ‘solving the riddle’ that the seven axioms present, it is imperative that a unique apprehension of time, exclusive to those few individuals and tribes that lived/live the ways of the paganus, is understood.
Time, and indeed reality, for the Rounwytha, is the instance of momentary existence as it unfolds, to paraphrase Alan Watts. There is no past, no future; for all intents and purposes, there is no time at all because time is a measurement of process not a process itself; and past, present and future are experienced simultaneously by Keepers through their aural mysteries. The measurement of time is most commonly used for determining the end of a day or season, with homo hubris concluding that a new day arrives after a certain time on an analogue clock and seasons begin on specific calendar dates. For those with “The Gift”, this conclusion is too mechanical, too artificial in purpose, to accept; for they instinctually apprehend that days and seasons seamlessly blend into one another, intuiting that a new day is born upon the rising of the sun and Spring arrives to bring forth a new cycle of life once the alchemical season of death has reaped.
The importance of this knowing of time, or its absence, can now be used to unveil the mystery as we approach the axioms once again with an altered epistemology.
“There are no named deities or divinities or ‘spirits’. No ‘gods’, no ‘goddess’. No demons.”
A. Every ‘thing’ and phenomenon of a numinous nature is apprehended holistically as an emanation of the acausal, not separated into parts by the act of naming and categorising.
“There are no spells or conjurations or spoken charms or curses; no ‘secret scripts’ and no ‘secret teachings’; indeed no teachings at all.”
A. There are no teachings until they are apprehended in the moment and/or knowledge is ‘whispered’ by a Keeper
“There are no ‘secret book(s)’ or manuscripts; indeed, there are no writings.”
A. There are no texts unless an inheritor of the Rouning chooses to record their knowings in a private Black Book.
“There are no ritual or occult or ‘wiccan’ or ‘satanist’ elements at all.”
A. There is no separation of form and function, light and dark, no either/or; therefore, such identifiers as “ritual”, “occult”, “wiccan” or “satanist” are irrelevant.
“There is no calendar, as calendars are usually understood, and thus no set dates/times for festivities or commemorations.”
A. (refer to the aforementioned section on time).
“There are no oaths made, no pledges written or said.”
A. There is a wordless understanding of unconditionality among a Rounwytha tribe. Their honour, loyalty and intentions are intrinsic to their being, and thus do not need to be ratified by declarations; instead, these are maintained via deeds and the very manner in which they choose to live.
“There is no organization, no dogma, no codification of beliefs, no leader(s), no hierarchy, and no stages or grades of ‘attainment’.”
A. Natural order and iterations are given room to come into being without deliberate human agency interfering. Due to Keepers or their tribes being scattered across England, Wales, Ireland and Scotland there can be no singular authority because there is no enclosed social system containing all Rounwytha from which a ‘leader’ or ‘leaders’ would naturally arise over time, nor are Rounwytha necessarily aware of the presence of other Rounwytha in different locales.
Footnotes:
[1] Pronunciation of Rounwytha: Roin – oo-ee – tha. The “R” is rolled and the “oin” is pronounced the same as the “oin” in “coin” (English pronunciation); “w” and “y” are a diphthong in Welsh so they are pronounced together which produces an “oo-ee” sound; and “tha” is pronounced the same as the “tha” in “thatch (English pronunciation).
[2] A Camlad Rounerer is contained within parentheses because of suspicion regarding whether or not The Rounwytha Way in History and Modern Context was written by a British author due to two reasons: (1) the use of American spelling for “organization”; and (2) the source for the axioms – The Rounwytha Way in History and Modern Context – being hosted on a website (https://rounwytha.wordpress.com/) that uses the same “0” tag as the fraudulent David Myatt and Old Guard websites that were exposed by the Nine Neighbours in Lest You Forget (https://www.9ao.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/wp-1739097269208.pdf).
It is our deduction that due to to the same, familiar red flags appearing on the website the MS is hosted on, and within the MS itself, that “The Rounwytha Way in History and Modern Context” was not written by a genuine “Keeper” or “Guardian” of the Albion tradition known as the “Rounwytha”; that is to say a person that has been: (a) initiated into those mysteries and has unearthed the dormant acausal energy at specific sites across England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland, completing all “Ten Rings”; and (b) has either inherited the role of a “Keeper”, or been chosen as a “Guardian” upon completion of the Ten Ringed Path.
Each site is ascribed a Planet for guidance, thereby giving an intimation of its essential qualities and requirements along the transformational or power centres in unfolding. For each of human sentience, the planets are ascribed in their usual Terran form. Each Planet (Sun, Moon, Earth, Saturn, Mercury, Mars, Venus, Jupiter, Uranus, Pluto) is ascribed a Sphere or a Working. Each of these Workings entails a subconscious understanding of part of the numinosity of the site, the aeonic rationale of the Elders who seeded the area, and the ultimate task for which the sites were ‘touched’. Each site relates to its neighbouring spheres (at the other sites in England, Wales, Scotland, Cornwall and Ireland) and together they unite to form a matrix or Tree of Life.

However, the author, “A Camlad Rounerer”, has inadvertently been fulfilling the role of a “Keeper” without knowing by obfuscating the “Rounwytha” tradition.
A local tradition and a body of folklore, together with concomitant ‘keepers’ whose historic tasks included distorting the real meaning of the essence, keeping away prying eyes, and providing a suitable cover story, maintaining or ‘keeping’ the sacred places intact, as a temple officiate or cleaner would, the tasks usually being handed down through certain families in the landscape over many centuries, each having certain gifts or ‘sight’ to assist their work.
