Announcement: The House Opens its Doors After 20 Years of Construction
House of Iconoclasts has been twenty years in the making. Formed in 2005 by T.C. Downey under the name “House of Eikonoklastes”, the group underwent substantial growth, change and development through the years. What began as an occult blog with a philosophy based on the Fourth Way transformed into a crypto-satanic worldview and practical, human nature-based philosophy once its founder decided to take a hiatus from the internet and test what he had formulated in the real world.
For seven years, T.C. Downey applied H.O.I teachings to several professions. Most notable was his duration as a taxi driver, a profession through which he gained numerous insights pertaining to the “underground” elements of twilight society and made connections due to his discretion. During his time offline, he began to formulate what would later be called the Insidious Way (ISW) from his various antinomian experiences and instances of pathei-mathos. T.C. Downey returned to the internet in 2020 to begin integrating the Insidious Way into The House of Iconoclasts/N.A.O, gathering a small circle of associates along the way to assist him.
In 2023, T.C. Downey added another associate to his small circle and development efforts within H.O.I increased exponentially, resulting in the following milestones: (1) stage one completion of Druwydry and the publishing of its first grimoire; (2) creation of a news outlet to increase transparency and communication among the sinister community; (3) creation of the Promethean Futurist current and the publishing of its first codex; (4) stage two completion of the Insidious Way and the publishing of its first book.
Today, we are pleased to announce that House of Iconoclasts has officially been opened as an occult organization with both online and offline presence, complete with its own bylaws, officers, duties and commissions, and inspired by the infrastructure that was used by the European Heritage Foundation/Arktion (qv. An Intro to Arktion). In addition, we are proud to announce two more items: (1) the first book produced by the Insidious Way, titled Heretical Precepts (Hardcover and Paperback); and (2) the launch of the Grey Market, which can be found here: (Click HERE)
Although we still have a great distance to travel to reach the destination of infrastructure and functionality that Arktion did, we are commencing the march by first opening the doors to potential members. Thus, those that meet the criteria can expect a visit from our Dark Envoys (qv. Duties of Officers) in due course.
